About FRP gutters

Steel gutters rust and concrete gutters crack, and either way the water ends up inside the building. FRP gutters don't corrode, and they're moulded in long lengths with few joints.

We make half-round eaves gutters for homes, box and valley gutters for factory and warehouse roofs, and FRP linings for existing concrete or steel gutters that have started to leak.

Applications for FRP gutters

  • Factories and warehouses

Valley and box gutters on sheet roofs, where GI gutters rust out.

  • Homes and villas

Half-round eaves gutters on sloping roofs.

  • Commercial buildings

    Box gutters behind parapets.

  • Leaking RCC gutters

An FRP lining inside concrete gutters and chajjas that leak.

  • Canopies and sheds

Gutters for car parks, walkways and canopies.

How it's made and fitted

Made in our unit at Jakkur, Bangalore, and fitted by our own team.

  1. Survey

We measure the runs and falls and check the condition of any existing gutter.

  2. Make

Gutter lengths, corners and outlets are moulded to the profile.

  3. Fit or line

New gutters are fixed on brackets and the joints sealed; linings are laid in place over the prepared gutter.

Typical jobs

The kind of work we're asked for most often.

  • A warehouse whose rusted GI valley gutters were replaced with FRP valley gutters of the same profile.
  • A leaking concrete gutter along an apartment terrace, relined with FRP instead of being broken out.
  • Charcoal half-round eaves gutters for a villa with a sloping tiled roof.

Questions about FRP gutters

More answers on our FAQs page.

Should we replace our gutter or reline it?

If the gutter is sound but leaks, an FRP lining is usually less disruptive than replacing it. If it's sagging or broken, replace it. We'll advise once we've seen it.

How do FRP gutters compare with GI gutters?

Galvanised iron gutters cost less at first but rust once the zinc coating wears, especially where water stands. FRP doesn't rust and can be moulded to any profile.

Can FRP gutters take foot traffic during roof maintenance?

Valley and box gutters on factory roofs can be made with a thicker laminate where people need to walk in them. Tell us if your gutters double as walkways.
