Why choose FRP Bangalore
Because we make what we sell, in our own unit, and fit it with our own team. FRP Bangalore is part of RJ Interiors & Constructions, which has worked in Bangalore since 2008.
Seven reasons to work with us
-
In-house manufacturing in Bangalore
Moulds, lay-up, finishing and checks all happen in our own unit at Jakkur, so we control quality and timing, and you can come and see your work being made.
-
Custom design and fabrication
We work from your drawing, sketch or photograph and make the master and mould for it, so you're never limited to a catalogue.
-
Durable and corrosion-resistant
FRP doesn't rust, rot or absorb water, which is why it suits tanks, gutters, terraces and exposed elevations.
-
Architectural design flexibility
Curves, facets, flutes, deep relief and colour in the gelcoat: shapes that are slow or costly to build in concrete or metal.
-
Quality-focused manufacturing
Laminate, gelcoat, trimming and finish are checked on every piece against its drawing before it leaves the unit.
-
Customised project solutions
From a single planter to a building's worth of facade panels, each job is sized, detailed and scheduled for its site.
-
Supply and installation support
Our own team installs what we make, and for sites further away we supply with fixing details for your contractor.
FRP compared with GRC, concrete and steel
We'd rather you use the right material than the one we sell. Our sister division, GRC Bangalore, makes GRC, so we can advise on both.
| Property | FRP | GRC | Precast concrete | Steel |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Weight | Very light | Light to medium | Heavy | Heavy |
| Rust and rot | Doesn't rust or rot | Doesn't rust | Reinforcement can rust | Rusts unless protected |
| Shapes and detail | Any moulded shape | Fine detail, stone-like | Simple to moderate | Sheet and section shapes |
| Colour | In the gelcoat | Cement colours, or painted | Cement colours, or painted | Painted |
| Fire | Combustible; fire-retardant resins available | Non-combustible | Non-combustible | Non-combustible |
| Best for | Shells, tanks, linings, colour | Facades and heritage detail | Structure and paving | Frames and structure |
When FRP isn't the right choice
FRP isn't structural, so it doesn't carry building loads, and it's combustible, so facades with strict non-combustible rules call for GRC or another material. We'll tell you when that's the case.

What clients say
They make very good Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete panels and FRP panels.
Their products are very good. For maintenance and repair they respond very soon, so according to me highly recommended.
